Creating at Mimi's

The last time Little Brainiac was here he found my Sculpey Clay Stash, asked what it was and then we pulled it out for him to sculpt his first little Mario Creations.

Look at him he is creating.  He went from Madagascar animals to Mario. Here he is very intent on painting his picture he made with Mario, Luigi and others to hang on his wall.

Look at that face he is making Yoshi his model is lying on table above.

Painting his little creation.  He is very serious about this thing.

The boy has talent!

Sorry I didn't get the finished yoshi in a picture.
He had to go home before I got that one, but let me tell you it was impressive.

This was supposed to be the end of the post but guess I have turned it into
"Mimi's Brag Book"

I had to share "his baby" as he calls him.

These two love each other so much, it's uncanny how well they have gotten along from the start.

Well, Summer is almost over
Berry picking time gone

Here he is with the "Rescue Monster" he bought to help the humane society for pets.

First day of school
Ok I am wrong Madagascar is still very much one of his favorite movies!
I love the smile on his face for this first day of school.

Look at him!
It is great that they offer Taekwondo at his school!

He loves it!

Create with children. Put a big old shirt on them cover the surfaces with cardboard and foil. Let them create.  So what if you have clay all over the floor and it they think that it takes 2 oz. of paint to dot one eye on that creation..that is what makes it special!
What better way to spend the time than with loved ones, happy times and memories in the making.

Now go out and Create something today!

    1. Oh thank you Hetty. These boys are my only ones since I had two daughters. They sure have given me a lesson in boys though. I know you are proud of your boys. They are still fairly young. If you are like me they will always be your little boys! Good to hear from you Hetty!

  4. I so envy you. My grand babies live three states away so we don't get to see them very often.

    1. Hey Michelle,
I hate that your grand babies live so far away. I pray you will get to see them more often.
