Plain Country

Today I'm sharing another new apron. I asked the guys Chuck and Doug in the house to help me with the name and this is what they came up with.

We were torn between country fields, country roads, country or plain country.  Doug drew the name out of a cup.

This apron is made from the McCalls #1279 copyright 1946.  Plain Country is the sister to Patchwork Patty, Pinky T, Honeybee Haven and one more coming up....

Plain Country is made 2 to 3 inches wider in coverage at waist but it still is frontal coverage only.  This is a dress hostess apron.  It will be very sturdy and last for years because I have made it as well as the others with premium 100% quilters cotton.  It is machine wash and dry.  Cute, sturdy, very useable and made to last for years! One Size but I think it will give dainty frontal coverage  XS - L
I don't recommend for size XL

Don't you just love the vibrant colors?  I do they say Fall to me.  I just found a piece of fabric that says the name and what a hoot!  Guess the guys named it right..."Riley Blake Designs pattern C2655 Back Country by the Paper Loft "  I can tell you it is an exceptional piece of fabric!

One more shot next to the Hoosier Cabinet.

I have one other to share in this line of aprons before going back into the sewing room..Coming Soon Men's Aprons.  I'll do this sew like mad and then take a break, garden like crazy then take a bread, I always cook like crazy...What are your interests?

Have a good rest of the week this apron will be in my stores listed on the right sidebar..
