Chuck's Apron

I've been pretty blessed to have a husband who is so supportive of my, should I say "habit"?  I'll admit it a habit.  I love fabric, sewing along with all sorts of crafts.  He will go shopping with me and I have so much fun with him.  He and the ladies at the fabric shop are becoming friends.
Today I share the fabric and his apron that he wanted me to make for him...click read more to see....

The patriotic fabric he chose.

Patriotic!  He is and so is his new apron.  He enjoyed picking out his own fabric and it made me happy to see him do it.  I guess you can see he is a big Steeler Fan.  Yes he has several aprons one of which is a Steeler.  Chuck loves to cook and he does wear an apron.  You can find his simple Spaghetti Sauce here one of the recipes he shares.  He makes a great barbecue sauce that he needs to share.

He did tell me to make my tie straps longer so that men could pull around to the front to tie instead of having to tie a bow at the back...OK alright I get the picture.  You don't want to have bows tied in the back.  The neck doesn't need to be tied either I'm told.

If anyone would like a "Chuck's Patriotic Apron" made in another patriotic fabric (I only make one of a kinds fabric wise) just let me know.  I've plastered Chuck's name all over this one.  He told me, "No if you want to sell this one you go ahead."  I said, "Well they'd have to be named Chuck."  He just said that to be nice he wants his apron!  I love the fact that he does!

  1. I so enjoy coming over to see what goodies you are whipping up. Chuck has an excellent point about tying his in front. Great idea.

And tell him I'm looking forward to his BBQ sauce recipe.
